Dear Anna, Adama, Leah, and Biry,

This is our last class together for the year.

Spending so much time on my computer was not what I had in mind when I became a teacher.  Although I continued to enjoy our interactions through the work you submitted and the correspondence of questions, I missed our classroom.  I also missed your faces and smiles (and even the infrequent frowns).  I was sad we never went to Bagami to do our field trip, and I continue to be sad that I missed the ceremony and festivities honoring your graduation from high school.

Prior to March 22nd, my intention had been to return to AISB for one final school-year 2012-2013.  Unfortunately, this is no longer possible.  I will be returning to New York City to teach at the High School where I was teaching before moving to Bamako.  If you happen to find yourself in the city please get in touch with me.  My personal e-mail address:  dedougou@hotmail.com

I have enjoyed our time together and only wish it had not been cut short in such a drastic way.

Please keep in touch!

Ms. Shabica

Dear students, I am glad to hear from you and to read that you have been studying Chapter 9. There seems to be some confusion about the word ‘studying’. I mean you to read the chapter and do the exercises. If you have any questions or want me to look at the work you did to make sure you understand the chapter, please contact me. I decided to postpone the test until next Monday (16th of April), because one of you will be on the plane all day tomorrow! Good luck with the studying! Mrs. Robertus. Dear students, How are you doing? You are awfully quiet. Does that mean you are not doing the work, or that you are doing it, but have no questions? I hope it is the last of these. If you have any questions you will find me in school tomorrow morning. After that I can answer your questions by e-mail. Good luck! Mrs Robertus.
